After months of planning, discussing and checking options, it is time to start swinging hammers! We are building the apartment in the Red Room. We don’t have all of the details resolved, but we have the floor plans, structural and plumbing figured out. More than enough to start! Sure, we are still working out the details of the heating and cooling but we’re pretty close. Refurbishing the windows is going to be tough. And, we still don’t have an idea for storm windows, but that will come. The important thing is that we are actually making progress toward living at the BAB. So, here it is:

How exciting! I know you can’t wait to get this major change completed and become an official Carondelet resident!
Hopefully it won’t be ALL heavy lifting. I’m sure your skills would be quite useful- much appreciated!
Milestone moment, congratulations!! Once you construct your permanent home upstairs, Peggy and I could rent the “red room apartment”. Would be all we need in the future. I would say, “let me know what I can do to help” but….. doctor says “no heavy lifting”. Exciting times for both of you.
