More treasures found

This weekend included the usual to do list, but one project uncovered some wonderful hidden treasures. We have a few dehumidifiers that need regular tending during our humid summer. Tom took on the task of finding a way to connect the collection buckets to drains. Digging through the corners of what we call the Kodak Room, Tom searched for an opening thru the floor where radiators used to be, inside some wood cabinets along an outside wall. In one cabinet, some papers had slipped below the shelf years ago and forgotten. Here’s what he’s found so far:

This weekend's discovery

There might be more in the cabinets, we’ll have to spend some time digging deeper. For now, here are the pieces Tom found.

A watercolor sketch of a simple window

These images look like they would be from the stations of the cross

Some of these were from Jacoby's previous location

Three small cut out images

Saint Valentine?

This one looks less religious

Under all the dirt, they are amazingly detailed and intricate. Luckily, we have a friend that is an art conservator. We’ll bring these to her for some advice on how to best clean them up.

I hope we can find more! The next step is to find where these windows are, if they were actually built.
