BAB & BAT on Google Street View
The Google van finally made a pass of our neighborhood. It must have been recent and it looks like it happened while we were at work. This is a small accomplishment, but it was fun to see.
We are WAY behind on posting our progress. Besides getting in some much overdue trips to see family and friends, we are making progress, in fits and spurts, on our storage project in the Kodak room. Stay tuned for more salvaging, scraping and surprise discoveries!
Hey Sue and Tom! I couldn’t find a good way to contact you directly from the blog. I found you through google while I was looking at wall units. Amazingly, I just bought the SAME wall unit at a antique shop. I had a few questions about your pile of parts. Also trying to dig up any info on it since mine seems to be missing one or two pieces, perhaps you’ve had more luck than I. If it would’t be too much trouble please email me. M.Doyle at ME (dot com). Thanks!
Probably last summer. Since our houses are only 1/2 mile or so away from each other, I Googlemap’d my house, figuring the Googlemobile did mine. Yup. It shows my extension ladder on the side of the house from when I was patching & painting the cornice.
That makes sense. They took the time to fuzz-out the license plate on the BAT. I zoomed in on the apartment window hoping to see Lucy in her usual spot, but if it was summer, she was probably crashed on the cool concrete floor.
