One year ago, after a rant about grocery store herbs, I planted one little pot of mint in the middle of some pretty crappy soil.

It looks scrawny and not very vigorous.

Flash forward one year and it certainly looks like one pot was enough to fill our mint needs.

The mint is sending runners out across the cement.

Even a massive aphid infestation didn’t stop its quest to take over the South Side. A few applications of Neem oil spray slayed the mint suckers. Now, it needs some serious pruning. Anyone need some mint?
